The fleet was blesssd with glorious North East Monsoon conditions having filled in over the past week in sunny Singapore and the wonderful One15 Marina Club.

As the fleet approched the race track PRO Jonathan Kwek, fresh from assisting at the SB20 World Championships in Hyeres, did not waste any time rounding the fleet up and getting proceedings going. The fleet had two general recalls with the tide sweeping the eager fleet over the line. The fleet got away on the third start under a black flag in shifty conditions. After some serious snakes and ladders with many place changes on every leg, the first race was won by Glasgow Kiss with Proco Rosso, having made the trip to race from Hobart Tasmania in second and Tara in third with guest Adrian Peach having come out from the UK fleet calling the shots!

The PRO again didnt waste any time in getting the second race underway going straight to U - flag and catching out Porco Rosso and Du Mei Dai at the start. Chin Nam Low's X-tra Mile sailed an excellent race to take home the win with Meraki bringing home a well earned second place after a great race and Glasgow Kiss bringing home third.

The fleet barely had time to finish their fabulous One Degree 15 sandwiches with the PRO going straight in the sequence for the third race. The fleet got away cleanly with the breeze regularly shifting through 40 degrees. Glasgow Kiss got the jump on fleet to finish first with Proco Rosso second and Du Mei Dai in third.

The PRO refused to give the fleet an early finish and went straight into the fourth race with the breeze the strongest it had been for the day at 16 to 18 knots. With backstays and controls fully on the fleet set out and once again started trading places. Lucky left came good again and with Tara executing a perfect plan up the left side of both beats they came home as the final winners of the day with Porco Rosso sailing another very consistent race to finish second again with Glasgow Kiss rounding out the podium..

Glasgow Kiss leads a very close leader board over night where only 4 points seperates the podium with U-flags still to come out after the discard making it even tighter. The fleet is looking forward to another action packed day tomorrow.
