The fleet arrived at the fabulous ONE°15 Marina in Sentosa Cove this morning to find less breeze than yesterday which made welcome news for sore fingers and aching muscles. The broken boats from the action packed day that was the first day of the Asian Grand Slam and Asia Pacific Championships 2020 had all been repaired over night with some teams staying late into the night. Notably Team NUS 1 led by the fabulous Matthew Scott Lau finished replacing their broken spreader bracket just before midnight.

PRO Jonthan Kwek, once again on top of his game, kicked off proceedings beautifully on time as usual at 12.00pm sharp. The first start got away cleanly with the breeze once again in the left. Lucky left came good again with Tara helmed by Admiral Agoston Sipos getting to the first mark first but unable to hold the lead with Galsgow Kiss coming through to win the first race from Skin in the Game who was back in the game with new rudder fittings, and Team NUS 1 taking home third. Newly appointed Singapore Class Captain Nick Cocks had his best race of the day onboard Zorro scoring a well earnt 7th place.

Race 2 got under way sharply on the hour with the start line still firmly at 295 with a healthy amount of pin bias. Paul McCartney's Proco Rosso sailed a superb race to take home the win after having sat out Day 1 due to illness. Team NUS 1 sailed a very consistent race to take home second with Geoff Masters, Andrew Crombie and James Cole on Meraki sailing a superb race to finish the race in third.

Race 3 saw the fleet getting called back under a general recall after being a touch over enthusiastic on the start line. PRO Jonarhan Kwek did not hesistate to go straight for the black flag to clam things down somewhat on the start line. The fleet managed to contain their enthusiasm to get away cleanly at the next start after which it was back to trying to decypher the shifty wind which was oscillating up to 40 degrees making for great racing with lots of place changes.
Porco Rosso was firing on all cylinders calling the shots beautifully and sailing fast to once again bring home the win and set the trend for eventually winning the day.

Race 4 was more of same with the wind oscillating unpredictably in both direction and strength. Despite the challenging conditions the cream rose to the top with Ed Russo's Skin in the Game taking home a comfortable win from Paul McCartney's Proco Rosso who sailed a superbly consistent race to finish second and win the day. Chin Nam Low's X-tra mile rounded out the podium for Race 4 with a well deserved 3rd. The Maltese Fleet Captain Dr Jan Rossi, sailing with Steve Kennedy, mirror legend from WA and Richard Howard sailed a great comback in final race of the day.

After two days of excellent racing the leaderboard is tightly packed with a number of teams still able to take home the trophy for the Asia Pacific Championships 2020 setting the scene for a great final day shoot out. As the beer induced karate yachting continued into the night, the fleet headed off for the Class Association organised dinner which was an opportunity to share and create war stories from the past few days.
